[Music] SuperFreak Records의 ‘Beautiful Disco’(뷰티풀 디스코), 데뷔 앨범인 Jelly Powder EP 발표.

12월 2일 SuperFreak Records의 아티스트/비트메이커 Beautiful Disco(뷰티풀 디스코)가 데뷔 앨범 Jelly Powder EP를 발표한다.

이번 앨범은 Beautiful Disco(뷰티풀 디스코)가 겪고 느꼈던, 만남과 사랑 그리고 이별의 감정을 미니멀한 사운드로 풀어낸 앨범이다.

소울풀함/그루브함으로 대표되는 60~70년대의 고전 샘플과, 다듬어지지 않은 투박한 드럼을 절묘하게 버무려낸 음악들이 사랑/이별/만남/희열 등의 키워드와 만나 한편의 흑백영화를 연상시키는 작품으로 태어났다.

그는 SuperFreak Records 입단 전 발표한 비트테잎 [Beat Makes Universe]와 다수의 공개곡 등을 통해 서서히 두각을 나타내기 시작했으며, 지난 9월 발표한 SuperFreak Records의 컴필레이션 앨범 [Freakloud]에서 인상적인 트랙으로 팬과 아티스트가 함께 주목하는 신예로 떠올랐다.

올 여름 SuperFreak Records에 입단한 그는 샘플링 기반의 아티스트로, 흑인음악에 기초한 샘플링을 통해 자신만의 음악세계를 구축하고 있다.

60~70년대 소울넘버를 샘플로 하여 작업한 이번 앨범은 Beautiful Disco(뷰티풀 디스코)의 사운드 클라우드와 밴드캠프를 통해 무료로 다운로드 가능하다.
